We have just added a new still from Dakota’s upcoming film Need for Speed where she co-stars with Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, and Kid Cudi. The film hits theaters on March 14, 2014 and follows a street racer fresh out of prison who was framed by a wealthy business associate joins a cross country race with revenge in mind. His ex-partner, learning of the plan, places a massive bounty on his head as the race begins.

Dakota Johnson walked the red carpet with her mom Melanie Griffith last night, at the premiere of Joseph Gordon Levitt’s new film Don Jon at the SVA Theater in NYC. This is Dakota‘s first red carpet appearance since it was announced last week that she will be playing the role of Anastasia Steele in the upcoming movie Fifty Shades of Grey. Dakota‘s upcoming co-star Charlie Hunnam spoke out last night about starring with her in the movie, saying that when he got into the room with her, he knew he “definitely wanted to do it, because there was a tangible chemistry between us. It felt kind of exciting and fun and weird and compelling, and so that was it.”
